Pastor Tim Weems

Growing up in a Christian home where his family actively served the Lord, Bro. Tim learned early in life of the importance of the church. At the age of 8 years old, he bowed down beside a little, brown couch at home and trusted Christ as his personal Saviour.

During a Spring Revival in 1982 at the age of 17, Bro. Tim made a public declaration before the church of his call to preach the gospel. He taught Sunday School classes, ran a bus route, preached at nursing homes, went street preaching, and participated in weekly door to door visitation for the church.

In 1987, Bro. Tim met his future wife, and, in June of 1989, he and Mrs. Weems were married. He continued his studies at Tabernacle Baptist College in Greenville, SC, under Dr. Harold Sightler, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Theology in 1992, then immediately began to pastor.

After pastoring and planting churches for over 30 years in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Virginia, Bro. Weems accepted the call here at Redemption Baptist Church in Enoree, SC, in November of 2025.

Pastor and Mrs. Weems have three grown children: Caleb, Selah, and Hannah; and several precious grandchildren.
